"Hinata!" Sakura screamed. Naruto looked sharply and saw with horror as he saw her fall. she hit the water hard, and disappeared under the surface. He turned back to the man, his face filled with anger.
"Damn you-" He clenched his fists and recklessly punched him in the jaw with all of his might. He fell to the ground with a large thud. His mouth twitched, angered.
"Naruto!" Sakura called, and she felt the girl's foot hit against her face. She fell down as she brushed her cheek to where the foot contacted with her skin. The girl smirked down at her. She glared at her as she jumped up quickly momentarily shocking the girl and tried to land a punch.
"Hmph, tough girl, eh?" She commented.
In that second where Hinata fell to the water, Gaara could only stare. She just couldn't have died- someone who such powers as she possessed, and someone who had helped him- no, she couldn't. Before even thinking, was was sprinting to the edge as he jumped off and went down into the water.
"Gaara!" Sakura called. Naruto grimaced, but silently thanked Gaara.
'Gaara... Please get Hinata.' Now he had to focus to finish these assholes.
Gaara could barely see under the water, but he saw the dark figure that seemed to drift farther away from him. He tried to get closer as he kicked his legs frantically. He kept kicking when he saw the figure getting closer. He soon grabbed onto Hinata's pale hand. He pulled on her arm forcefully as he pulled her body closer to him. Her eyes were closed as she was unconcious from the fall. He took one of her arms and secured it around his shoulder and held his other hand on her waist as he begin kicking his legs once more, this time up to the surface. Swimming up was definitely more difficult especially with carrying someone. His legs were becoming tired, but he didn't stop.
"SHANARO!" Sakura punched into her face with all of her force, throwing the girl into the woods, hitting a tree and settling onto the ground, knocked out. After she was sure she won the battle, she turned around and ran over to Naruto. Naruto saw her gaining momentum and he quickly backed off. The man made a confused face but Naruto didn't see before his face hitting the bark of the tree.
"Naruto, quick!" Sakura said, and Naruto knew what she meant. He didn't need to be told any more, as he darted to the water. He jumped in and began swimming down. He looked all around for both Gaara and Hinata, and panic soon struck him as he looked around.
'Where did they go?' He thought to himself. His eyes rested when he saw a large figure not so far below him. He darted towards and soon could make out the silhouettes of both of them. He smiled as his face met Gaara's. He look exhausted, as he wasn't much of a swimmer in the first place. Naruto made a gesture toward Hinata, and Gaara understood what he meant. He released her as Naruto took her and put her in the same position as Gaara had her. Naruto nodded, and started back up with Gaara following.
Naruto gasped for air when he finally had reached the surface and rushed to the edge to bring Hinata's cold body up first. Sakura rushed over as she helped move Hinata onto the ground. Naruto jumped out of the water and rushed over to where Hinata's body laid still.
"Hinata!" Naruto called as he stopped and dropped to her side with Sakura. Her body lay motionless, making him panic even more. Sakura checked her pulse, as her eyes widened. She let go of her neck and quickly closed her lips over Hinata's mouth, as she tried to bring breath back. She sharply pounded on her chest and did the process once again and repeated it several times.
Gaara soon arrived from under the water, panting. He slowly pulled himself out of the water, and sat, trying to regain his breath. He looked over and saw Naruto's hunched back and he could see Hinata's wet legs lying paralyzed. His eyes widened.
'No...'

Yay, I hope you enjoyed this drabble of mine! I got the inspiration by-guess what- Gaahina art! I really like some of the Gaahina art there is art there! No, I didn't want this to be Gaahina, the way the story went in my mind, it's Naruhina of course, and Gaara just liked Hinata because her cheerfulness when they first met changed his take on life, like how Naruto did for him originally. :)
This probably won't become a story until I get more time, as I haven't even started the next chapter of Hinata's Story yet, and I'm doing the 30 kisses short stories, so... The story will stay in my mind for good pleasure and such for now!
