I actually did make two new headers for my LJ yesterday, but it's too late in the day to work on my layout right now. I also decided I won't be changing the entire thing, so that means much less work. I'll just have to choose a header, gather the color scheme, and change all the codes and such. It shouldn't take me too long hopefully.
I finally got most of my music list! Feels good to listen to a fresh cycle of music. I will have to look carefully for Peter Fox, though, to see if I can legally get his music at all. I can't even view some of his videos on youtube.
Also, it wasn't Peter Fox.
I had been watching TV yesterday, and a commercial for Dancing With the Stars came on. I would have ignored it if it wasn't for a certain song they used to play it. I practically squealed when I realized that was Mando Diao's "Dance With Somebody" playing in the background. Ohmygod. And it was just a few days ago when I said I wished he was on the radio and how his music could gain popularity in the US, and THERE IT IS PLAYING ON TELEVISION WHAT.
Knut died over the weekend, and I honestly was pretty sad. I actually saw the polar bear back in 2007 when he had been born and became a huge celebrity. We had gone to the Berlin Zoo and walked in to where he was out with his surrogate mother, and there was a huge crowd taking pictures and talking with the man. It really is upsetting that only have 4 years the famous polar bear died. Something is seriously wrong there.
On a lighter note, my friends all wanted to go shopping, so we met up. It was actually really nice, plus I had money. It was great to see them, because our busy lives and inconvenient locations have us unable to hang out often.
I only got two things from shopping, though. :> Granted, I bought a dress from a boutique for $40 so I'm partially at fault. The place was really nice, though, and I couldn't resist to get the dress. I had bought one of those summer longer dresses at H&M. First dress ever like that, in fact I never really wore dresses for regular days. I decided to change my wardrobe, even if it is piece by piece. For so long I've wore unflattering jeans and big t-shirts, and now I have an actual interest in fashion. It stemmed from my interest in lolita, but I've quickly moved on to other fashions like dolly kei, mori kei, and otome(which I like best). I think I should get new wardrobe that isn't just jeans and my t-shirts that weren't even that cool.
Which really makes me wish I could get a job right now.
