I managed to finish Gundam Zeta today. Oh god. Why? Why was the ending so sad?
AAAAGH.
I'll grudgingly admit it was a great Gundam series. Although, again, the romances were all over the place. I take it Kamille was attracted to every female he met- it was even worse than Amuro, who was also still a douche in Zeta. Granted, they both got better after the beginning like always, but still-
WHY

Thought it would be a good time to share a Gundam picspam, specifically the fanart I've found for this 30-year-old show.
Right this way, then. Definitely happier than the show, and somewhat lighter in mood with all the dread going on right now.

So Gundam Zeta is centered around this boy named Kamille. And the whole point that drove the plot in the beginning was his complex over his girly name.

Another main character is the oh-so-fine Char Aznable Quattro Bajeena Char Quattro Bajeena, the disguise of Char after Mobile Suit Gundam. He's so fine, maybe he should turn around.

For the first part of the series, Kamille actually piloted the Gundam Mk. II. He also had a Haro of his own. Very much like Amuro, as in being a spoiled brat.

I didn't even realize there was good fanart of any yaoi of this. I get confused with shipping anything in here, so I'll go with anything.

I loved Gundam Wing and have been poking at the other Gundams for ages, but never knew where to start. I GUESS I SHOULD GO WITH THIS.

If you're going to check out the UC universe Gundam, Mobile Suit Gundam is the very original that starts the story. Zeta comes after MSG. Then the very next series can either be Gundam ZZ or the movie Char's Counterattack, because that ends the long story of MSG and Zeta.
Zeta has cameos of characters from MSG, but it explains pretty well for it so you could watch it, and I THINK YOU SHOULD.
