One, Kuragehime. THE ANIME IS HYUUUUUNG. <3
I really enjoyed watching this anime. Awesome, AWESOME story- yet again another anime/manga I strongly like that has cross-dressing/unconventional gender roles, coincidence?
It's something different, and the anime is airing in Japan this season, feels good feeling like I'm keeping up when I'm really not. I mean, I gotta at least see one or two episodes of Gurren Lagann.
And look into seeing Gintama.
And watch more of Gundam 0083.
And Gundam Unicorn.
Maybe I'll just go play with my Gundam game...
Back to Kuragehime, I also think the opening/endings are cute. Opening is of course better animation-wise, but you can't beat the ending with the music by Sambomaster. I spent the entire first time listening to it thinking, "I KNOW WHO THIS IS, BUT'S BEEN SO LONG...THEY FUCKING HAD SONGS FOR BLEACH, YES, THAT GROUP.... WHAT'S THEIR NAME?!"
Now I have to go look around for their recent music, but I can still remember their second Bleach ending song I still have not found. It's just been a while since I have been going back to just my alternative and indie pop and forgetting of the popular Jpop being released. Cold War Kids, Passion Pit, Mumford and Sons, Phoenix, MGMT...

Second, really?
Is it THAT hard to figure out how to use an Lj-cut? They actually have a question EXPLAINING JUST HOW TO on the site. It seems very obvious when you post to a community without an Lj-cut and ask how you make them that you only bothered to join LJ to post that one time. Personally, it helps having an LJ and lurking everywhere, so whenever(if ever) I first post on a community, I'm not having to ask the whole "How do LJ-cut?".

Just to let you know, I've watched the first first episode of the dub. That was a long 5 minutes. I can't stand the voices. And-ogod- all the script changes... I hate it.
Dammit Funimation. Who the hell likes heavy accents? I've met girls my age in Germany who could speaker English clearer than that, it's ridiculous.

The industry has now decided to do something about all the online manga readers out there on the internet, "stealing all their money away". Now, top sites have been asked to shut down. Onemanga.com is going to soon be gone. D:
I made sure I got a list of all the manga I've read there, so I can search for the titles by myself now.

And no, I refuse to buy Shounen Monthly Jump here. It's a waste of money, and the feeling that I wait a whole month for the next chapter people have already read 3 weeks ago and 3 chapters ahead is not a pleasant one, since I'm not ignorant of what publishers are doing.

*Sigh* On to something else...

I'm so happy for Onenote, it helps keep me organized and it's a great place to hold my list of manga to continue reading.
Anyways, I have a head ache, I'm going to sleep now. I almost fell asleep while watching Star Trek- actually, I closed my eyes after awhile so it became listening to Star Trek- the episode was crazy.
Incredibly crazy.

I don't really know why there's Vic hate really- he apparently gets a role in every anime by funimation and maybe the other points is he's bad..?

1. Funimation ALWAYS like, casts a popular VA in everything they can. A few years ago, Steven Blum was a VA used in LOTS of anime by Funi, many times a major character. If you watch the old anime late at night on Adult Swim, you'll hear his voice like, 3 times. It's the same with that Johnny Yong Bosch guy that is always in EVERY anime like holy shit, and he wasn't even good at voicing some of them. I freak out when I watch a new anime and I hear HIS VOICE.
2. The only valid point to not wanting Vic. He was good as Edward Elric, but I can't say he was good for all the other roles he had. He sucked as his role in Bleach, and I vaguely remember his voice for Tamaki for Ouran, and it wasn't amazing.

So, getting the role of Switzerland makes sense. Edward and Switzerland have a lot in common as characters as being blond and temperamental and...
wait... I just had a thought...

I KNEW IT. THEY BOTH ALSO HAVE THE SAME SEIYUU. I KNEW IT.
Romi Park, you're awesome. Vic, you're ugly.
MOVING ON.
It's not confirmed, but it seems to be right. Vic was only good at a character like Ed, and what better role than Switzerland? Of course it'll be kind of odd hearing Vic's lower voice when I've always loved Romi's higher voice. Another instance Seiyuu>Voice actor. Well, that'll keep happening if every role Romi had is taken up by Vic.

On a random note, I had a creepy dream last night. I don't know if it was from the ice cream  I ate or the sushi I ate.

EDIT: I JUST HEARD THE PREVIEW CLIP OF THE HETALIA DUB. I COULD ONLY MAKE OUT AMERICA'S AND GERMANY'S VOICES THE FIRST TIME. OHMYGOD. *Goes and listens to it again*
EDIT 2: False rumour, he's actually voicing Greece... whut.

I made three- well, two are of the same image, but pretty different. I went through my favorite artwork from PIXIV today, and realized 95% of my favorite works wouldn't be good for large images... Uups.

There once was a loser fangirl who did almost nothing with her life. One day in her isolationist school of the female sex, her friend asked her to write a story about drugs, sex, and a female!Germany and Italy in a fairytale. Okay the drugs & sex part was implied but still. So during class one day when they had nothing better to do than put an effort into school work while the teacher was away and made stuff in their notebooks. The fangirl wrote said story but excised the sex and drugs and placed Russia(which is an equal exchange) where female!Germany was only shown as chaste and a little bit aggressive and prince!Italy was actually into drugged girls and only found it weird in an enchanted kingdom of sleeping people that there was no pasta.
Anyways- the page of the scribbled "story" was finished before 3rd period was over, as the girl's friend finished drawing the Nordic countries for the other. They exchanged and giggled insanely at both. The story was then passed around the school(as in their group of 5 people who get it) like drugs or bubble gum.
The girl got the story back, and thought it would be a good idea to type the story up and fix some parts like why-the-hell-would-Russia-just-leave-after-enchanting-the-kingdom-despite-pretty-Baltic-princesses. She mentions it and says she would do it by the end of the weekend, knowing she had no life that would interfere.
But still, she decided not to, being extremely lazy, and thought "I'll just post it later the next week." The idea seemed fool-proof, until the fangirl realized as she looked at the unfinished school work-
She had finals coming up! Well, then, she'll be too busy to type the story up, although not too busy to skip studying for looking at pretty pictures online and then partying the night before the first set of exams.
So she shrugged her shoulders, and decided the fairytale will never be typed up, or if it is, in quite a long time.
She also realized what a waste it was typing this up instead of typing up the actual story- but feels little remorse. Only a pain in her stomach.
(And then she realized she really needs a LOL icon for occasions like this other than the Kanjani8 one)

( Sweet Nothings )

 

So, I remembered this one comic I read on Pixv of Germany and Japan talking at Japan's. Germany trips and accidentally falls on Japan. Italy just so happens to barge in like his happy self, until he saw the scene of Japan lying on the floor with Germany right over him and freezes.
There's a small moment of astonishment, before Italy grins, and pretends to act fine. He quickly leaves. Japan says something to Germany, so he rushes to catch Italy, whose heart is feeling torn because of what he saw.

That was the basic plot of the comic. I wanted to read/look at it again, so I check my favorites.
But I didn't have it.
So then I spent an hour or so searching for it, but did not find it.
I'm a little sad.
I guess I should find something else.
